From intimate anniversary dinners to lively engagement parties, christening luncheons, adult milestone birthdays, retirement celebrations and school fetes — private events are where Rotonda truly thrives. Unlike a one-size-fits-all catering company, we take the time to understand what your occasion calls for. Your menu, setup, timing and service duration are all tailored around you. Hosting 25 guests in a backyard? We have done it hundreds of times. Feeding 300 at a private winery? We have done that too. The wood-fired oven travels anywhere — garden, park, function hall, rooftop or coastal reserve. It arrives as a completely self-contained unit, requires no kitchen or fixed gas supply from your venue, and becomes the centrepiece of your event the moment it is lit. Our professionally dressed pizzaioli craft each pizza to order in front of your guests, creating the kind of live cooking experience that gets conversations started and keeps them going all evening.

What types of private events do you cater for?
Rotonda caters for any private occasion — engagement parties, anniversary dinners, christenings, adult and children's birthday parties, retirement celebrations, school fundraisers, charity events and family reunions. If you are gathering people together, we can feed them well.
Can you cater at my home or backyard?
Yes. Our wood-fired oven is completely self-contained — it needs no power outlet or fixed gas connection from your property. We bring the oven, fuel, prep station and all fresh ingredients. As long as there is reasonable outdoor access to your space, we can set up and cook at any residential address in our service area.
How much does private event catering cost?
Our Classic Menu starts from $22 per person with a minimum of 20 guests. The Premium Menu starts from $30pp. All packages are fully inclusive, covering delivery, setup, live cooking, service and cleanup. Contact us for a personalised quote based on your guest count, location and preferred menu.
